News: Ryanair adds Cork flights from East Midlands and Prestwick

Ryanair is launching flights to Cork from East Midlands and Glasgow Prestwick this winter.
The no-frills airline will operate the new daily routes to its Cork base from December 13. Cork Airport's Kevin Cullinane said: "Ryanair's announcement is fantastic news for our region. Cork is an important business centre and an ideal city break destination and we remain committed to expanding our route network for the benefit of all our customers."
There are currently no other airlines offering flights from East Midlands or Prestwick to Cork, although BmiBaby and Aer Lingus offer regular flights there from Birmingham. There are no flights from Glasgow International to Cork.
