News: New Barcelona flights from East Midlands this winter

Easyjet is launching new flights from East Midlands to Barcelona this winter.
The four times weekly service will take off on December 7, providing the only direct link from East Midlands to Spain’s second city. Return fares to Barcelona start from just £30.98.
Easyjet’s UK manager, David Osborne, said: "This is great news for those living in the East Midlands region, Barcelona is a fantastic historical and cultural destination ideal for city breaks and is a gateway to the beautiful Costa Brava region.”
This is the second new route to be added to the budget airline’s main Midlands hub, following the recent announcement that the airline will introduce flights to Majorca from next February.
