Monarch Airlines are scrapping their flights from London Gatwick to the Spanish city of Granada this winter.
The budget airline is putting a halt to the route on November 4. As a result there will no longer be any airlines operating flights to Granada from Gatwick, although Ryanair run ten flights a week from Stansted.
A Monarch spokesman said the route was not cost effective, adding: “Passenger demand on the Granada route has not met expectations and the aircraft used to operate these services will accommodate further route developments from Gatwick, which will be announced shortly.”
Passengers booked to travel after November 4 will be offered alternative flights or a full refund.
