Eastern Airways is increasing the frequency of its flights between Aberdeen and the Norwegian port of Stavanger, just two months after the route was launched.
The current twice daily schedule will be increased to three each weekday from October 22. From October 28, the airline will introduce a new Sunday service linking the two oil industry hubs.
Eastern Airways’ Scotland director, Graeme Ross, said: "Our new service to Stavanger has had an excellent start and we’re responding to feedback from customers, including those from the energy industry, wanting greater flexibility and more choice with three flights each weekday to Stavanger and a Sunday service.
"For those travelling from Norway to Scotland, this also enables us to further improve connection times to the onward UK cities that we serve from Aberdeen."
Eastern Airways also operates flights from Aberdeen to Bristol, Durham Tees Valley, East Midlands, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Norwich, Southampton, Stornoway and Wick.
