News: Silverjet Dubai flights take off

New all-business class flights from London to Dubai were launched yesterday by British airline Silverjet.
The daily Dubai flights leave London Luton at 9pm, arriving in Dubai at 8.30am the next day. Return flights leave Dubai at 10.30am, arriving back in Luton at 2.45pm. Return fares start from £999 including taxes. Silverjet are the first airline to use the new 5,000 square foot private executive terminal in Dubai.
Silverjet customers also benefit from a menu designed by the Le Caprice restaurant, flat beds that measure six feet and three inches long, and a seatback massager.
Silverjet chief executive, Lawrence Hunt, said: “Launching a new route less than a year after our first flight took off from London Luton airport is a huge achievement for Silverjet.
“Silverjet has become the first business class only carrier to offer a non transatlantic service and will further strengthen our exclusive business class credentials.”
Silverjet also operates twice daily flights from Luton to New York.
