Easyjet is launching its first flights to Jersey next spring.
The no-frills airline will operate daily flights to Jersey from Liverpool and London Luton from March 31 and April 21 respectively.
Easyjet bosses are hoping the two new routes will be attractive to both business and leisure travellers alike, with close to 200,000 passengers expected to fly on the new services within the first year.
Easyjet’s UK commercial manager, David Osborne, said: "This is an exciting development for Easyjet, not only are we launching services to the island of Jersey for the first time, we are also opening up the market with two new currently un-served routes, connecting it with London Luton and Liverpool, providing direct access to the island.”
