British Airways has revealed that it will launch a number of new short-haul services from London next year.
BA will offer new flights from Heathrow to Malaga on March 30, while new flights will be available from Gatwick to Alicante, Faro, Gibraltar, Ibiza, Malaga, Palma and Tunis.
These Gatwick services are currently operated by BA's franchise carrier GB Airways, whose agreement with BA comes to an end in March 2008.
From London City airport, BA's subsidiary Cityflyer will launch four new routes to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Nice and Warsaw.
British Airways commercial director, Robert Boyle, said: "We are opening up these Mediterranean hotspots with our new flights and are confident that, with our full onboard service and low prices, they will be very popular with customers.
