News: Jet2 scrap Prague flights from Belfast

Jet2 is scrapping its flights from Belfast to Prague next spring.
The budget airline’s four times weekly flights between Belfast and the Czech capital will stop on March 3, four years after the route was launched. Jet2 has blamed "seasonal factors" for the decision, although industry experts claim the carrier has struggled to compete with the recent launch of Easyjet flights to Prague from Belfast. Passengers who already have already made bookings will receive full refunds.
An email sent to Jet2 customers said: "We hope that this advance notification will give you sufficient time to make any other necessary alterations to your travel arrangements and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this withdrawal of service."
