News: BMI to launch Tel Aviv flights from London

BMI is launching flights from London to Tel Aviv next spring.
Starting in March, BMI will operate daily flights to Tel Aviv from Heathrow.
British Airways and Israeli national airline El Al already offer daily flights to Tel Aviv from London, but in a bid to increase tourism, Israel announced an open-skies policy earlier this year. The country’s Tourism Ministry has lobbied European budget carriers in an effort to lower prices, and in November no-frills airline Thomsonfly started flights from London Luton and Manchester to Tel Aviv.
