No-frills airline Easyjet has launched a new membership card that will enable passengers to pay for priority boarding.
The Easyjet Plus card allows unlimited Speedy Boarding on every flight without prior reservation by showing the card at check-in and at the boarding gate.
The card is available on Easyjet's website for an introductory rate of £75 per year, increasing to £100 per year from April 30.
Easyjet’s product development manager, Peter Gerstle, said: "Easyjet Plus means passengers will receive discounted Speedy Boarding every time they fly, saving them both time and money."
The airline also plans to extend the card's benefits to discounted car hire, deals on travel insurance and special hotel rates.
