News: New Gdansk flights take off from Coventry

Wizz Air has launched new flights from Coventry to Gdansk.
The Polish no-frills airline will operate three flights a week between Coventry and Gdansk on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights leave Coventry at 11.10pm, arriving in Gdansk at 2.30am (local time) the next day. Return flights depart from Gdansk at 9.45pm, landing in Coventry at 10.45pm.
Coventry airport’s chief executive, Chris Orphanou, said: “We are delighted that Wizz Air is complementing its existing services to Katowice with the introduction of new flights to the important Polish commercial centre of Gdansk. The West Midlands region has strong historical links with Poland and these new flights are great news for the Polish community, business and leisure travellers.”
