News: New Frankfurt flights from Bristol take off today

Lufthansa has launched new daily flights to Frankfurt from Bristol today (March 31).
From April 7 the German national airline will operate three flights a day from between the two cities, providing the West Country with a direct link to one of Europe’s most important hub airports.
Lufthansa’s UK general manager, Marianne Sammann, said: "This new service is a direct response to business traveller demand. The Bristol area includes the headquarters of a number of global companies - including Airbus, HBOS (Halifax Bank of Scotland), Hewlett-Packard, Knorr-Bremse, Orange and Rolls-Royce - and they will now be able to take advantage of Lufthansa's reputation for punctuality and efficiency from their local airport."
