Budget airline Bmibaby has launched flights to the Polish city of Gdansk from Cardiff.
The coming summer is set to be one of the busiest ever for the airline at Wales’ busiest airport, with routes to 13 European destinations operating during the holiday season.
Bmibaby’s managing director, Crawford Rix, said the airline was delighted to have launched its new Polish route from the city.
He added: “Bmibaby continually look to offer the people of Wales exciting low-cost destinations that are brand new to the airport and to the region.
“This is further demonstrated by our recent announcement of brand new flights to Barcelona from Cardiff. Flights to the cosmopolitan Spanish city are selling excellently and we anticipate it will be one of the most popular routes from the region.”
