Regional business carrier Eastern Airways is increasing the frequency of weekday flights on four of its domestic routes from Monday (April 7).
Flights between Leeds Bradford and Aberdeen, Leeds Bradford and Southampton, and Manchester and London Stansted will now operate four times a day (Monday to Thursday), whilst the Cardiff to Newcastle route will now run three times daily.
This latest move by the airline follows last month’s increase of weekday flights to six a day from Aberdeen to Newcastle, four a day from Southampton to Aberdeen and four a day from Newcastle to Southampton.
Eastern Airways chief operating officer, Chris Holliday, said the enhanced services are tailored to meet the needs of business commuters.
He added: “As with many of our services we are offering the best choice of flights enabling travellers to conduct important business away from the office without the need for an overnight stay.”
All passengers flying with Eastern Airways are able to use its dedicated fast track security channels at Cardiff, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Newcastle and Southampton airports to avoid queues.
There are no additional costs for those travelling with hold baggage and, all passengers have a choice of seat and are offered onboard complimentary drinks and snacks, including champagne.
