News: BA to launch Hyderabad flights from London

British Airways will start operating flights to the Indian city of Hyderabad from London Heathrow this autumn.
BA will offer five flights a week from Heathrow to Hyderabad from October 28. The new service will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with outbound flights leaving Heathrow at 1pm and arriving in Hyderabad at 4.25am (local time) the next morning. Return flights will take off from Hyderabad at 7.15am, arriving in London at 1pm. BA will use a 270-seater Boeing 777 aircraft on the new route.
A BA spokesman said: “Introducing Hyderabad as the next destination in India is to re-emphasise our commitment to the Indian market. We are focusing on providing better facilities and a wider worldwide network to our customers from India.”
There are currently no other airlines offering direct flights between London and Hyderabad.
