FlyLAL is launching flights to the Lithuanian resort of Palanga from London Stansted next month.
The Lithuanian national airline will operate two flights a week from Stansted to Palanga.
The new route takes off on May 17, offering the first ever scheduled flights to the picturesque Baltic town from the UK.
A FlyLAL spokesman said: “Direct flights from London to Palanga offer a splendid opportunity to visit the beautiful Curonian Spit, the seaport of Klaipeda, and the popular summer resort Palanga and its Amber Museum - which has the largest amber collection in the world - and many other places of interest.”
Meanwhile, FlyLAL will also increase the frequency of its flights from London Stansted to the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, this summer - operating a further four morning flights each week.
