News: Wizz Air suspends Gdansk flights from Coventry

Wizz Air is suspending flights from Coventry to Gdansk barely two months after the service was launched.
The Polish no-frills airline has operated three flights a week between Coventry and Gdansk on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but is shelving the route next Tuesday (May 13).
A Wizz Air spokesman said: “Due to the launch of flights out of Ukraine we have decided to close recently opened routes, because this will least affect our passengers. We will resume these flights as soon as possible.”
The only other airline operating flights to Gdansk from the Midlands is Ryanair from Birmingham International.
