Low-cost airline Bmibaby has started new flights between Birmingham and the Polish capital Warsaw.
Three flights a week will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday.
Birmingham International’s business development director, Peter Vella, said he was delighted to see the launch of Bmibaby’s new route to Warsaw.
He added: “Warsaw offers passengers the chance to visit the capital city of Poland which is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe and has recently experienced significant redevelopment making it the up and coming city that it is now.”
The addition of the new route to Warsaw brings the total number of destinations Bmibaby serves from Birmingham to 24, and it is the largest carrier at the airport operating more than 350 weekly flights this summer.
