BMI is increasing the frequency of its flights from London Heathrow to Saudi Arabia.
More flights will be added on services to the Saudi cities Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh.
This expansion follows talks between the British and Saudi governments which upped the maximum number of weekly flights allowed between the two countries to 35.
BMI chief executive, Nigel Turner, said: "We congratulate the UK and Saudi Arabia in creating a more open market between the countries. We are well placed and eager to take full advantage of the agreement."
He added that BMI had significantly increased its presence in Saudi Arabia after BA stopped flying to the Kingdom in 2005. Full details of the increased services will be released in the next few weeks.
