News: Eastern Airways named most punctual airline

Regional business specialist Eastern Airways was the most punctual scheduled airline operating in the UK during the first quarter of 2008, according to official Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) figures published by the Flightontime.info website.
The CAA statistics covered flights to and from major UK airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester.
Eastern Airways was followed by Air Berlin and BMI Regional in the reliability charts. The most punctual no-frills airline in the first three months of the year was Bmibaby, followed by Ryanair and Flybe, all of which had average delays of between ten and 11 minutes.
