Easyjet is scrapping its flights from Belfast International to Berlin Schonefeld later this year due to poor ticket sales.
A spokeswoman for the no-frills airline said flights to the German capital from Belfast would be scrapped at the end of October.
She said: “Easyjet will not operate to Berlin from Belfast this winter due to low demand for the route.”
Easyjet has also recently announced plans to axe its Gdansk flights from Belfast. A number of other airlines have been scaling back flights from Northern Ireland too. Last month, Flybe cut its flights from Belfast City to Paris, blaming the rising cost of fuel. Aer Lingus is pulling the plug on its flights to Geneva and Budapest, but the airline blames poor bookings rather than fuel costs.
Finally, Jet2 is changing its Barcelona and Blackpool routes from year-round services to summer only flights.
