Loganair is axing its Glasgow International to Londonderry flights after 29 years.
The Scottish regional airline blamed rising fuel costs and the "economic climate" for the move, which will take effect from October 20. Loganair currently operate daily flights between Glasgow and Londonderry.
Loganair's acting chief executive, David Harrison, said: "This is very disappointing for all concerned but is the result of circumstances out with our control. We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience."
There are currently no other airlines operating flights between Londonderry and Glasgow International, although no-frills carrier Ryanair offers flights from Glasgow Prestwick to Londonderry.
