News: Monarch replace XL on Caribbean flights from Gatwick

Monarch Airlines will operate a former XL Airways route from London Gatwick to the Caribbean islands of Grenada and Tobago.
The British charter carrier, which is based in Luton, will begin the weekly service from December 17, with flights taking off from Gatwick at 9.30am and arriving in Grenada at 2.50pm and Tobago at 4.40pm.
The return flight, which will be scheduled on an Airbus A330, leaves Grenada at 4.05pm, and Tobago at 6.40pm, arriving back at Gatwick at 6.55am the next morning.
Monarch will offer customers 307 economy seats and 51 premium economy on the service, which was originally halted after XL went bust in August.
