News: Virgin announce fuel surcharge reduction

Virgin Atlantic has reduced passenger fuel charges in reaction to continuing oil price falls.
Economy passengers will now pay £53 on shorter sectors and £66 on longer sectors; premium economy passengers will pay £63 on shorter sectors and £85 on longer sectors; upper class passengers will pay £78 on shorter sectors and £98 on longer sectors.
Longer sectors include Virgin’s flights from London to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Beijing Tokyo, Shanghai, Sydney, Mauritius, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Hong Kong. All other Virgin flights from the UK will be covered by the short sector tariff.
