Bmibaby is launching new flights to Menorca this summer.
The budget airline will operate a twice weekly service to the popular Spanish island on Thursdays and Sundays from May 21 until October 22. Menorca is currently not served by any other low cost airline from Cardiff.
Bmibaby’s managing director, Crawford Rix, said: “By launching this new service we are offering customers a unique summer destination at fantastically low fares.
"In the current economic climate the airline industry is seeing a weakening in demand from consumers for impulsive city breaks and an increase for typical sun destinations.”
