Bmibaby has announced new routes from Birmingham and Cardiff for the summer 2009 holiday season.
The budget airline will operate four flights a week (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to Newquay from Birmingham between May 22 and October 22, as well as a twice weekly service from Cardiff to Almeria in southern Spain from May 22 to October 22 2009, on Mondays and Fridays.
Bmibaby is currently the only low cost carrier to operate on these routes from Birmingham and Cardiff.
Bmibaby’s managing director, Crawford Rix, said: "The south of Spain is an exceptionally popular region and we have introduced the new route to Almeria in order to offer even more choice from Cardiff. Almeria offers a rich Moorish heritage and has a picturesque location in a beautiful bay.
“Newquay offers something for everyone, from its stunning coastline to numerous golden beaches which are great for walking and surfing.”
