News: Air Southwest named most punctual UK airline at Gatwick

Air Southwest has been named London Gatwick's most punctual UK airline after it was revealed that 86 percent of its flights from the airport last year were on time.
The regional budget airline was also revealed as the second most punctual of all UK, European and worldwide airlines using Britain's second-busiest airport.
Air Southwest's managing director, Peter Davies, said the airline is consistently working to ensure its flights are “as convenient and efficient as possible”.
He added: “Time is money for business travellers and the delivery of punctual and reliable airlinks is fundamental to the services we offer so we're naturally delighted to receive confirmation that the punctuality of our Gatwick services beats those of all other UK airlines.”
The airline currently operates four-times daily flights to Plymouth and Newquay from London Gatwick. Air Southwest will also launch flights to Guernsey from Plymouth on April 8. The new service will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
