News: Wizz Air reduces baggage allowances

No-frills airline Wizz Air has tightened baggage restrictions for all passengers booking flights from May 22 onwards.
The total allowance for all pieces of checked-in baggage will be reduced from 20 to 15 kg on all new bookings. The excess baggage fee charged at departure will increase from €10 to €15 per additional kg.
The 20kg limit will stay in place for customers booking before May 22.
Wizz Air will also be reinforcing stricter rules on hand baggage restrictions at the airport.
The Eastern European airline currently operates flights from four UK airports to destinations in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Romania.
