Jet2 is launching three routes from Manchester next summer.
The budget airline will be starting flights to Kos, Venice and Gran Canaria.
It is the first time scheduled flights have been offered to Kos and Venice from the UK’s biggest regional airport.
Jet2 is also increasing the frequency of its summer 2010 services to Lanzarote, Dalaman, Sharm el-Sheikh and Tel Aviv.
Manchester Airport managing director, Andrew Cornish, said: "This news is a boost to holidaymakers travelling from the northwest. The fact that Jet2 is continuing to expand its services from Manchester is encouraging to the airport and the region as a whole."
