News: New flights from Manchester to New York JFK

American Airlines (AA) is launching flights to New York JFK from Manchester next summer.
The daily route takes off on May 16 and will run throughout the summer until September 30. As one of AA’s key hubs, JFK also provides passengers with the ability to conveniently connect to around 40 onward destinations across the Americas and Caribbean.
The new service will complement AA’s existing year-round flights from Manchester to Chicago O’Hare. In addition to services from the north of England, AA also has a large operation from London Heathrow with direct flights to Dallas Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Raleigh Durham, Boston, Miami, New York JFK and Chicago O’Hare.
AA will face competition on the route from Delta Air France (daily) and Pakistan International Airlines (Saturday and Tuesday), with Continental (twice daily) operating flights from Manchester to New York Newark.
