News: EasyJet swaps Luton route to Belfast City

EasyJet will operate flights from London Luton to Belfast City instead of Belfast International from next year.
The no-frills airline will operate twice-daily flights between Luton and Belfast City from January 7.
EasyJet said the decision to transfer the route to Belfast City is a result of the airline's plans to assess if passengers find a benefit in flying to an airport closer to the city centre when travelling on shorter routes.
The majority of EasyJet's Northern Ireland routes will be remaining at Belfast International, although if the move was successful they would consider "additional routes over time" from the city site.
Passengers who have already booked to travel between Luton and Belfast International from January 7 onwards will be able to transfer free of charge to the Belfast City route or claim a full refund.
