British Airways (BA) is increasing the frequency of its flights from London Gatwick to St Kitts next March.
A new Tuesday flight will be added to the current Saturday service due to a surge in demand on the route. St Kitts flights were previously available from Gatwick with XL, but these were cancelled when the tour operator went bust in September 2008.
The twice weekly St Kitts flights will be operated by Boeing 777 aircraft with a three-class configuration: World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World.
There are currently no other airlines operating direct flights from the UK to St Kitts, although regular connecting flights are available via other Caribbean islands, with Antigua being the easiest place to transfer.
