KLM has said it will restore the fourth daily flight from Norwich to Amsterdam which has been axed this winter due to a slump in demand.
Henri Hourcade, KLM’s UK general manager, confirmed the fourth service would be reinstated in March.
Mr Hourcade said: “We had four flights a day from Norwich, but this winter all routes in Europe have made capacity adjustments.
“From March this will go back up to four, and this is not conditional on demand.”
He added: “Norwich is very important to us. It is an important point of departure. There is no Lufthansa or British Airways here, we are the only international carrier.”
