EasyJet will cut the number of flights it operates between London Luton and Scotland’s two largest airports, Glasgow International and Edinburgh next month.
The no-frills airline said the move will be part of plans to cut overall capacity at Luton by 20% from January 5 onwards.
Passengers booked to travel after January 5 will be offered either a free transfer to another easyJet flight, a free transfer to a bmibaby flight, or a full refund.
The 20% reduction from Luton will also see easyJet scrap flights to Athens, Cagliari and Vienna from Luton, as well as reduce frequencies on routes including Alicante, Dortmund, Geneva, Nice and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
