News: New Lisbon flights from Edinburgh

EasyJet will launch flights from Edinburgh to Lisbon next summer.
The no-frills airline will operate a three-times weekly service every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from May 4 onwards.
The new route brings the total number of destinations easyJet flies to from Edinburgh to 18.
There are currently no other airlines offering Lisbon flights from Scotland.
Paul Simmons, easyJet’s UK regional general manager, said: “Today’s announcement will further strengthen our position at Edinburgh Airport. Lisbon is a vibrant and historic city, which we expect to be popular as a city break destination as well an important business link.”
