News: Virgin Atlantic through-check-in service proving popular

Virgin Atlantic passengers who start their journey to the Caribbean or North America from one of Flybe’s UK regional hubs have been quick to take advantage of the seamless through-check-in service introduced late last year.
The through tagging of bags and issuing of all boarding passes at the Flybe regional airport of departure dramatically transfer times at the connecting airport. The service also allows passengers to remain airside throughout their journey, removing the stress of having to check-in for a second time at London Gatwick or Manchester when jetting off across the Atlantic.
A Virgin Atlantic spokesman said: "Virgin Atlantic is delighted to offer passengers travelling on Flybe smoother connections via Gatwick and Manchester to its destinations in the Caribbean as well as Orlando and Las Vegas. Passengers can book a Flybe connection at the same time as their Virgin Atlantic long-haul flights and enjoy all the benefits of through check-in with just one ticket."
